Kid's camp participants in grades K-5 can experience one, two or even up to six days of fun at the Desert Museum this winter. Earth Camp Earth Camp

Earth Camp is a partnership between the University of Arizona College of Science and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

Earth Camps are hands-on, minds-on field camps which focus on sustainability issues and promote youth leadership skills.

Students learn about the Sonoran Desert ecosystem and current environmental issues while hiking, camping and exploring our beautiful desert.

We are pleased to be repeating both our Middle School Earth Camp and our High School advanced Earth Camp this year!

Museum Explorers Camp - Revised!

Desert Explorers

See the museum as you never have before! Our hands-on, minds-on day camps will open your eyes to the wonders of the Sonoran Desert region. Museum Explorers touch and observe live animals, conduct science experiments, create cool crafts, sketch in desert journals, sample desert foods, and more! Plus, for older kids, the Coyote group goes behind the scenes to explore museum jobs, from keeping animals to building exhibits. All groups will enjoy special sessions with the Sonoran Sea Aquarium staff where they will "dive" into aquatic environments. You won't want to miss the fun!
